Xbox Game Pass dominates PS Plus thanks to day-one release of EA FC rival | Gaming | Entertainment

Xbox Game Pass is back with even more releases for the month of June.

Releasing from now until the beginning of July, the new Xbox Game Pass titles include the day-one release of Rematch, which is a new multiplayer football game with an arcade gameplay style.

Rematch is already available with Game Pass, meaning you can jump into the action right now. The EA FC rival features fast-paced action with limited rules.

Microsoft explains more: “Step onto the pitch in Rematch, a third-person, team-based football game where every pass, volley, and tackle matters. Designed for 5v5 online play, Rematch puts you in full control of one athlete, with no offsides, no fouls, and no downtime. Pass smart, play with purpose, and win together.”

In addition to Rematch, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also download and play Star Trucker and Wildfrost.

Wildfrost is a tactical roguelike deck builder and well worth checking out if you haven’t already.

“Collect and upgrade card companions, ready to withstand waves of deceptively cute Pengoons, Gobblers, and brutish boss monsters. Test your skills in daily challenges and build up the town of Snowdwell, unlocking more cards to aid in your fight against the everlasting frost…”

Elsewhere, Volcano Princess will join the service on June 24, followed by city building game Against the Storm on June 26.

A trio of PC games will also join Game Pass on June 26, including Warcraft I: Remastered, Warcraft II: Remastered and Warcraft III: Reforged.

Things only get better at the end of the month and start of July, when three high-profile releases join the service.

It all starts on June 30, when Call of Duty WW2 becomes the latest COD game to come to Game Pass.

With a third game launching at some point in the future, Game Pass subscribers will be pleased to hear that Little Nightmares 2 is also getting a release on July 1.

The horror sequel features similar platforming and puzzle solving as the original, not to mention a selection of terrifying monsters.

Finally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to download and install Rise of the Tomb Raider, which sees Lara journey to Siberia.

When you combine the latest Xbox Game Pass releases with the titles that joined earlier in the month, it’s another dominant performance for Microsoft’s service compared to PlayStation Plus.
