UK weather maps show exact date snow bomb hits south of England – full list of X counties | Weather | News

UK weather maps have forecast snow for a number of regions in the UK, including parts of southern England. The new weather forecast from WXCHARTS predicts snow will arrive on Tuesday, November 18.

In the morning, snow will predominantly impact Scotland, with most of the country blanketed, maps show. Parts of Northern England near Newcastle are also expected to see wintry showers.

Further south, spots of snow can be seen near London, in Kent, and Norfolk.

The WXCHARTS forecast, aided by Metdesk data, also shows temperatures plummeting, especially in Scotland, where there could be lows of -8C in the Highlands.

The North of England near the Scottish border will also be chilly with temperatures of -5C.

Most of England will sit just below freezing, with much of the South dropping to -2C.

The Met Office‘s forecast also says that snow is a possibility in the UK in the coming week.

Met Office meteorologist Simon Partridge told The Independent: “It’s certainly going to turn much colder over the next couple of days, there will be an eight to 10 degree drop in temperature, you will be struggling to get double figures.”

“We will probably see our first widespread countrywide frost on Monday morning and the lowest temperatures will be somewhere between minus 5C and minus 7C.”

He added that snow is likely to fall in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the North Yorkshire Moors, west Wales and the moors of southwest England.

These conditions are most likely to arrive on Tuesday and Wednesday.
