TUI announces three direct routes to Greek bliss from new UK airports | UK | News

Brits will be able to enjoy the sun more easily than ever before as TUI launches direct flights to Kos from Bournemouth, Exeter and London Stansted airports.

This is the first time TUI has offered flights from Bournemouth and Exeter to Kos, making the island accessible to a new wave of tourists.

Neil Swanson, Managing Director, at TUI UK&I said: “These new routes to Kos follow a rise in demand for this picturesque Island, which is one of our customers’ favourite Greek destinations.

“By launching services from Bournemouth and Exeter for the first time, and reinstating our popular London Stansted route, we’re making it easier than ever for customers across the South of England to enjoy an unforgettable Greek island holiday.”

Passengers flying from Bournemouth and Exeter will be able to book seven- or 14-night holidays, while Stansted offers more flexibility with stays of 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, or 14 nights.

Prices for seven nights start at £667 per person, based on two people sharing on an all-inclusive basis, flying from Stansted on June 11, 2026.

Flights from Stansted to Kos were initially scrapped in 2019, but TUI will now offer flights on Mondays and Thursdays.

Kos, the third-largest Dodecanese island, boasts a 112km coastline, along with over thirty beaches and historical sites.

The island offers both relaxation and recreation as the most popular TUI holiday packages include volcanic island tours, water parks and sunset boat trips.

The youngest volcano in Greece is located in Nisyros, just a one-hour scenic boat ride from Kos. TUI describes the trip as the number one ‘must-visit’ while you’re there.

It’s no surprise that sightseeing has become one of the most popular activities, with the famous Asclepieion of Kos becoming a tourist hotspot.

An ancient Greek healing temple and the founding site of Hippocrates’ school, the ruins are an insight into the island’s past.

A unique tour combines honey and wine tasting, while the most cost-effective tour option of Kos Town by night costs £16 per adult.

For the adrenaline junkies, the clear and warm waters make it the perfect place to parasail or scuba dive with views of the sparkling Aegean Sea.

TUI’s announcement comes after Virgin Atlantic announced it would be launching flights from London to Phuket next autumn.
