Trump’s staff warn President ‘losing the plot’ after tariffs meltdown | World | News
US President Donald Trump’s staff fear he is “losing the plot”, it has been claimed.
Mr Trump launched into a furious tirade this week after the Supreme Court ruled that his sweeping global tariffs were illegal.
As a result, the President said he was “ashamed” of the six judges, branding them “unpatriotic.”
He even made a baseless claim that the judges were swayed by “foreign interests.”
Now, the Daily Mail’s Andrew Neil says sources in the White House have sounded the alarm over the President’s mental state.
He said: “For some time now, my White House sources have been indicating that Trump is losing the plot. Not nearly as badly, of course, as Joe Biden when he occupied the Oval Office. But nonetheless concerning. They complain that it’s increasingly difficult to get him to focus or concentrate on whatever matter is at hand.”
Mr Neil added that Trump’s “rambling” is “worse than ever”, according to the sources.
Trump has always denied any suggestion that his mental state is suffering.
He has previously said he “aced” a number of cognitive tests.
