The production, adapted from the novel bearing the same title, was predominantly shot aboard a genuine superyacht valued at $150 million.

The vessel’s actual name is Savannah, and filmmakers took one notable creative freedom regarding the yacht’s specifications.

Within the movie, which boasts a gripping conclusion, every guest quarters includes a personal balcony, whereas the real Savannah features enclosed staterooms.

Certain cabin and corridor sequences were recreated at Shepperton Studios.

Savannah is renowned for its sculptural yet tranquil interior design, with straight passageways completely eliminated.
