One pretty seaside town often goes under the radar when it comes to holiday destinations, despite its scenic postcard-perfect looks. Home to quaint streets, a friendly atmosphere and scenic coastal views, this town is not known as a major tourist destination – but those who do visit can’t get enough.
Those who have visited are often singing the town’s praises, and those who have not been instantly add it to their list. Cobh is a historic part of Ireland that’s more than worth a trip. The town is mostly known as the last port of call for the RMS Titanic before it sank in 1912. The town has several Titanic-related attractions, including the Titanic Experience, which educates visitors about the tragedy.

The travel-fanatic says the best things to do when visiting are to visit the famous “deck of cards” viewpoint, walk around downtown, visit the Titanic Museum and to walk through the Cobh Heritage Center.
You can also take a boat tour of Spike Island which is the Ireland equivalent of Alcatraz.

To get to Cobh, you will need to fly to Cork which takes around one hour 15 minutes from Manchester. Then, you can drive to Cobh which takes around 35 minutes.
