Tesco is launching a range of Clubcard deals tomorrow, just in time for the big Christmas shop. Seven Christmas essentials are being slashed to just 15p, giving Clubcard members savings of up to 89% on festive veg.

It comes as Sainsbury’s reveals new savings for Aldi Price Match products and Nectar users – households looking to cut costs this Christmas by shopping around can pick up all the ingredients of a Christmas dinner, including several kilos of veg, potatoes, gravy and a whole Turkey for less than £15. At Tesco, starting on Thursday, December 18, it will offer four kilograms of festive veg for just 60p. Two kilograms of the popular supermarket chain’s All Rounder Potatoes have been discounted the most, offering shoppers a saving of £1.17.

Broccoli will also be knocked down by 67p, and 500 grams of Brussel Sprouts by 74p. Here is the full list of festive veg Tesco will discount to 15p between December 18 and December 25 :

• 2 kilograms of All Rounder Potatoes
• 500 grams of Brussels Sprouts
• 500 grams of Parsnips
• Broccoli
• Swede
• Red Cabbage

Thrifty shoppers can find the deals online and in stores, but they must have a Tesco Clubcard to snap them up. You can scan a physical clubcard or use the Tesco app to unlock bargain prices.

The Tesco Clubcard provides shoppers with access to exclusive prices and allows them to collect points with every purchase, which can be exchanged for vouchers on the Tesco app. It’s free to sign up for a Clubcard.

Sainsbury’s has also launched its own series of Christmas discounts. Huge savings are available across products such as Turkeys (£3/kg), Pigs In Blankets (£2.50) and Gravy (62p) thanks to the Nectar Loyalty Card and Aldi price matches.

They offer a similar deal on veg, bringing down popular Christmas trimmings to 15p, including potatoes, parsnips and brussels sprouts.
