Samsung is giving away free Galaxy tablets this weekend – how to claim
Samsung is on a bit of a roll of late when it comes to eye-catching offers. The tech giant has an ongoing trade-in program to get instant money off its latest smartphones, but an impressive new deal has caught our eye that you can take advantage of at the same time.
Right now, if you buy the Galaxy S25 from Samsung, you can trade in any Android smartphone in any condition for an instant £200 off. Not only that but you’ll receive a Samsung Galaxy tablet completely free. This offer is on until June 26.
The Android tablet you’ll get is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+, which is worth £259. It has an 11-inch screen with 90Hz refresh rate, perfect for Netflix binges, emails, web browsing and a bit of mobile gaming.
So, if you have a broken old phone in a drawer somewhere, send it off to Samsung as part of a trade-in and you’ll spend £599 on a brand new Galaxy S25 instead of £799, plus pick up a new tablet. Samsung will charge you £599 for the phone, and then you must send in your old phone to the firm – otherwise your new phone will be remotely blocked!
If you want to take advantage of this deal but £599 is a bit much to pay upfront, the free Galaxy Tab deal is also running with other retailers, including Mobiles.co.uk. This retailer is owned by Currys, and it’s offering the same Samsung Galaxy S25 for just £24.99 per month on a two year contract. This includes a £129 one-off upfront payment for the handset.
That’s less to pay today than buying the phone outright. On top of that, not only can you claim the free Tab A9+, but you’re fully set with a new phone plan. This is on iD Mobile, and gives you 500GB monthly 5G data plus unlimited calls and texts.
The total cost of the contract over two years is £752.76, inclusive of in-contract price rises. This is more overall than the £599 Samsung deal, but could be preferable to pay less upfront and also get two years of 5G coverage in the UK.
Whichever deal you pick, you have to provide proof of purchase to this Samsung Offers website and make a claim to get hold of your Galaxy Tab A9+. You have to submit your claim within 30 days of purchase and Samsung says it’ll let you know within five working days if it has been approved, and you’ll then receive your free tablet within 45 days.
Samsung often runs promotional offers on its latest smartphones both from its own store and with third-party retailers, but these two deals are particularly good if you want to pick up two new Android devices.
