Health experts are raising concerns about Meghan Markle’s DIY bath salt mixture made for guests in her show, ‘With Love, Meghan’, which aired on Netflix on March 4. The homemade mixture is made by Meghan in the first episode of her eight-part series, titled ‘Hello, Honey’, but a skin care professional and YouTuber has specifically made a video to warn viewers about the recipe. In the episode, Meghan prepares bath salts for her friend and makeup artist, Daniel Martin, using Epsom salt, Himalayan salt, arnica oil and lavender oil.

But experts note Markle fails to measure ingredients properly, dismissing a staff member’s question about quantities by simply saying: “Quite a bit”. Experts say the Duchess of Sussex fails to add a “carrier oil” to the essential oils where ratios will therefore be mixed in at least eight to one. Instead, Meghan adds drops of lavender and arnica oil straight onto the salts, as reported by GB News. Jennifer Christopherson warns: “Don’t try this at home! You can’t just dump an essential oil in, give (it) to a friend and be, like, hey, have fun. Get that whole thing out of your mind, what she did. vBased on that, she doesn’t know about essential oils, I can tell you that right now. So just use caution. Just use care…”
