Royal Family LIVE: Disgraced Andrew ‘hit with set of strict rules’ at Sandringham home | Royal | News
Disgraced Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been hit with a set of strict new rules at his isolated Sandringham cottage, it has been claimed. The former Prince and Duke of York has been holed up at Wood Farm – where his late father Prince Philip spent his final days – since his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office. There have been no sightings of the 66-year-old since he slouched down in the back of a car, leaving Aylsham police station in Norfolk.
It is reported Andrew is now banned from going out riding, a favourite pastime at his former Royal Lodge home on the Windsor estate, as it is considered a “bad look” amid the police probe. He reportedly cannot leave the Sandringham estate without permission and a chaperone, while any visitors to his temporary home must be approved in advance, the i newspaper reports. The reported restrictions come after Thames Valley Police ended searches of Royal Lodge and as ministers agreed to release files on his Jeffrey Epstein-linked trade envoy role, with one branding him “a rude, arrogant and entitled man”.
