Quentin Tarantino’s best film immortalised in the unlikeliest of places | Gaming | Entertainment

Before arguably disappearing up his own backside (that one is for you, David), Quentin Tarantino made some superb movies.

Reservoir Dogs is good, Jackie Brown is even better, but his best work for my money is 1994 masterpiece Pulp Fiction, which contains too many iconic characters, scenes and lines to mention.

My favourite characters are hitmen Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega, played by Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta, respectively.

Whether discussing European fast food restaurants or quoting scripture, Jackson and Travolta stole every scene, which is why I’m elated but somewhat surprised to see them immortalised in video game form.

Indeed, as part of Fortnite Chapter Seven: Pacific Break, Pulp Fiction characters Vince and Jules can now be purchased from the Item Shop.

The well-dressed hitmen are available as individual skins, or as part of the Wallace Organisation Bundle.

Available for the discounted price of 2,500 V-bucks, the bundle contains Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega skins, as well as the ‘Durrr-Oyale Burger’ Back Bling, the ‘Briefcase’ Back Bling/Pickaxe, the ‘What?’ Pickaxe and the ‘You Can Never Tell’ emote.

The emote recreates the famous dance scene between Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace, complete with music.

If you want to purchase the items individually, the skins cost 1,200 V-bucks each, the emote is priced at 500 V-bucks, the ‘Durrr-Oyale Burger’ Back Bling costs 300 V-bucks, the ‘What?’ Pickaxe costs 800 V-bucks, and the ‘Briefcase’ Back Bling/Pickaxe will set you back another 800 V-bucks.

It’s worth noting that if you do want to purchase the Pulp Fiction items, then you’ll have to do so by January 9.

There’s no guarantee the items will be back in the near future, so it’s always best to grab items when you have the chance.

Speaking of Tarantino characters in Fortnite, Battle Pass owners can unlock The Bride from Kill Bill.

The Item Shop is currently packed with pop culture crossovers, including Stranger Things skins, Terminator items, and Baby Groot Sidekick.
