Netflix announces new romance movie from Brad Pitt’s company | Films | Entertainment
Netflix has just revealed the star-studded cast of a much-anticipated film directed by Greg Kwedar, titled Saturn Return. The title refers to the astrological period when Saturn completes its orbit and returns to the same position it was in at the time of a person’s birth.
This concept is mirrored in the film, from Brad Pitt’s production company, as the characters navigate their own life transitions. The narrative spans a decade, tracing the main characters’ journeys into adulthood.
Charles Melton, Rachel Brosnahan and Will Poulter are among the latest stars announced for the project, joining other big names such as David Morse, Jean Yoon and Kim Dickens. Set in Chicago, the film explores themes of love, loss, and unexpected life twists.
Speaking to Tudum, director Kwedar expressed his excitement about the project: “This project has attracted the most incredible cast and crew, who feel almost cosmically drawn to be part of this.”
He added: “Led by Rachel Brosnahan, Charles Melton, and Will Poulter, these actors are so bonded and delightful to be around.”
He also praised the supporting cast, saying: “Supported by a dream team of actors in Jean Yoon, David Morse, and Kim Dickens, this is an ensemble that offers up a rich tapestry of what it means to be part of a family.”
The film is being produced by Plan B – Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner’s production company – along with Emily Wolfe, who joined in 2022. Actor Will Poulter is known for his roles in We’re the Millers, The Maze Runner and Black Mirror.
Charles Melton, famed for his roles in Riverdale and Glee, is joined by Rachel Brosnahan, known for her performances in Superman and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
