Meghan Markle needs to stay in her lane if she wants to see success | Royal | News
Meghan Markle has been told that she needs to “stay in her lane” if she wants to be successful in 2026. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, has had numerous business projects get underway this year, including her As Ever brand, her short-lived podcast, and her Netflix series.
While the Duchess seems to have had a degree of success in each project she has attempted, an expert has said that she needs to focus on one or two core areas and really excel in these. Brand and Culture expert Nick Ede told the Express that this is when she is most “impactful”.
Mr Ede exclusively said: “From a PR point of view, 2026 feels like a pivotal reset year for Meghan.”
He continued: “The appetite isn’t necessarily for more from Meghan, but for clarity from her. We want to define who she is and what her place is in the world of celebrity.
“She has scatter-gunned herself constantly over the past few years and it’s not really worked.
“For maximum success, she should focus on two things: consistency and credibility. That means choosing one or two core areas to concentrate on. whether that’s philanthropy, female entrepreneurship, or just being a celebrity with a brand, she just needs to commit to it long-term, without constantly reframing her narrative.
“The biggest win for Meghan would be to let her work speak louder than her story. When she’s at her strongest, she’s impactful and influential which is the lane she should stay in. I’m excited to see where she goes in 2026.”
Meghan has kept her plans for 2026 under wraps, however it is believed her main focus will be continuing to expand her As Ever business.
Her business has experienced a lot of growth in less than 12 months, and now sells a range of products from spreads to wines and even candles.
Meghan also had a successful 2025 with her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, despite receiving a mix of reviews and criticism.
It is unknown whether a third season of the series will be produced.
