However, if there’s one film that is a must-watch this Halloween, then it’s this timeless classic, which fans, even after nearly 20 years, can’t get enough of.

The spooky film has been dubbed a masterpiece and a nostalgic favourite by fans who enjoyed it as children and still do as adults, but film enthusiasts don’t have long left until the film leaves Netflix.

Monster House, released in 2006, is an animated film about three teens who discover that a neighbouring property is, in fact, a living monstrous creature, but no adults believe them. So they take it upon themselves to challenge it.

The film has a 75% score on Rotten Tomatoes with the critics’ consensus reading: “Monster House welcomes kids and adults alike into a household full of smart, monstrous fun,” which couldn’t be any further from the truth, as those who have grown up with the film still love it to this very day.
