Major security concerns just days before Meghan’s Australian retreat | Royal | News

Meghan Markle is facing major security concerns just days ahead of her Australian retreat. The 44-year-old is set to host a womens-only wellness retreat at a five-star hotel at Coogee Beach in Sydney between April 17 and 19.

It has been reported that the event, which had 300 tickets available, has now been overshadowed after trolls share online that they plan to attend Meghan’s event and “secretly record”.

The event, which was organised by Her Best Life podcast, promises guests an experience of yoga, sound healing, meditation, a psychologist-led session and a disco evening.

It will also see Meghan attend a “fireside chat” Q&A session alongside a gala dinner which she will also attend.

One fan took to X to write: “Just in case if Meghan Markle didn’t despise me enough she’s about to HATE ME even more.

“I hatched a plan with a friend who lives in Sydney to attend the best life weekend, they have been accepted & has a spot secured. Good luck figuring out who it is, Meghan [laughing-face emoji].”

Revealing what they planned to do whilst in attendance, the user added: “There are button cameras, meta glasses, we got all the bases covered. Now that they’ve been accepted. Let the games begin!!!”

Another user said that Australians may cause chaos with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelling into the country, with one user adding: “I know there will be people heckling her and protesting outside the event… us Aussies have lots of surprises for her.”

Travelling alongside his wife, Prince Harry has been announced as a speaker at the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit.

The couple are reportedly set to travel without their two children, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet likely set to be cared for by prearranged childcare back in Montecito.
