A multi-vehicle collision on the M60 clockwise between junctions J27 and J1 cuased traffic chaos this morning. National Highways warned of one-hour delays due to the incident.

It said: “The event is expected to clear between 08.30am and 08.45am on 6 May 2025. Normal traffic conditions are expected between 09.15am and 09.30am on May 6, 2025. There are currently delays of 1 and a half hours against expected traffic.” Emergency services were deployed to the scene although it is not yet apparent how many casualties were sustained in the crash. All lanes were cleared shortly after 8am.
