Lloyds Bank explains 30-day rule if you have either of 2 accounts | Personal Finance | Finance
Lloyds Bank has clarified the rules for one of its accounts as it pointed to a 30-day limit that customers may want to note.
A customer contacted the bank over social media with this question: “When you open a new account and you selected cinema tickets as a reward when do you start getting them?”
Customers with Club Lloyds Silver and Club Lloyds Platinum can access various ‘lifestyle benefits’, such as coffee and dining memberships, a Disney+ subscription, or cinema tickets at ODEON or Vue cinemas.
Information on the Lloyds Bank website about the cinema tickets offer explains: “Choose six cinema tickets from either ODEON cinemas or Vue cinemas. At Vue cinemas, your vouchers also entitle you to half price popcorn.
“At ODEON cinemas, you can redeem your vouchers at ODEON Kids Screenings, which come with a free kids-size popcorn per ticket.”
Responding to the customer, Lloyds clarified the rules. The group said: “When you open a Club Lloyds account, we give you 30 days to choose and amend your benefit selection. Once that period has passed, your choice is locked in and your benefit will be issued to you.”
When you get your cinema ticket voucher, the expiry date will be printed on the front of the voucher. If you choose cinema tickets, Lloyds will use your postcode to identify and allocate your nearest cinema.
Customers can choose which benefit they want on the Clublloyds.com website. If you are logging on for the first time, you will need to click ‘Create or reset your password’ and follow the instructions to set up your password.
Your username for Clublloyds.com will be your Club Lloyds bank account sort code, plus account number. For example, if your sort code was 30-12-34 and your account number was 01234567, your username would be 30123401234567.
Clublloyds.com is a separate portal for choosing your lifestyle benefit and is not part of the Lloyds Banking app, so your username and password will be different to your Internet Banking login details.
