-The Radisson Blu Hotel Liverpool was evacuated after fire alarms sounded

-Guests reported being forced to leave quickly – some without belongings

-Unconfirmed reports suggested a fire behind the hotel

-Fire damage was later reported to skips or bins at the rear of the hotel

-The back of the hotel was cordoned off, with fire engines and utility vehicles present

-It is not yet known if anyone was injured

-Guests have since been allowed back inside and ambulances have left the scene

-Old Hall Street was able to reopen
