James Bond Goldfinger movie props on display for free at 007 bar for limited time only | Films | Entertainment

In celebration of Goldfinger’s 60th anniversary, EON Productions has opened an official James Bond bar and gift shop in London.

Location inside Mayfair’s Burlington Arcade is the 007, a temporary, stylish two-floor bar.

Express.co.uk went to check out this luxurious pop-up serving Bollinger champagne and Day of the Dead cocktails.

We sampled the vodka and gin-based Estrella and tequila-fuelled Spectre, which were particularly delicious. However, at £24-26 a drink, you might want to make it a special occasion.

Heading downstairs, the golden bar area included a free-to-us You Only Live Twice pinball machine, which is a ton of fun, plus some incredible props from 1964’s Goldfinger starring Sean Connery.

Among them was an actual Oscar, Goldfinger’s golf shoes, the private jet spy hole Pussy Galore uses and even Oddjob’s bowler hat.

Even heading to the loo was a treat with a surprise around the corner we won’t spoil, before entering a bathroom smothered in gold (including the toilet bowl), as the Bond theme plays while you go about your business.

Meanwhile, upstairs is a gift shop called the 007 Boutique, featuring all the latest official Bond-inspired gifts, which offer plenty of choice for fans thinking about Christmas presents.

It’s worth noting that you don’t have to buy a drink to explore the temporary installation, which is open until New Year’s Eve. But if you do fancy sitting down and enjoying a cocktail or glass of champagne, it’s good to know that the bar is reserved entirely for walk-ins.

This is a real hidden gem of an official attraction for Bond fans in London and considering it’s only open for a few more weeks we recommend you get down there while you can.

The 007 is open (Double-O) seven days a week from 10am until 7pm Monday-Friday, 8:30pm on Saturday, 6pm on Sunday and up to 9pm Monday-Saturday for the whole of December. To find out more, click here.
