‘Impressive’ trail is UK’s most popular hike and perfect for walkers | Travel News | Travel

There are some truly beautiful places in the UK where you can walk. As we approach National Hiking Day on November 17, outdoor experts at Blacks have revealed the UK’s most popular hikes.

The experts have analysed AllTrails and Google search data from October 2023 to September 2024. They also examined the average temperatures and rainfall to reveal the best hikes to try this autumn and winter.

In top place was a trail which took around two hours and 15 minutes to complete. It has impressive views of moorland, woodland, archaeological remains and the renowned Rhaeadr Fawr waterfall.

The trail also follows an easy gradient, with only a few steep descents, perfect for any outdoor enthusiast. However, the trail does get busy so hikers may want to avoid going early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
