Get ‘best bouncy blow out and waves’ with simple styling tool

Shoppers are raving about a simple styling tool that’s helping them achieve the ‘best bouncy blowout and waves’ with barely any effort. As temperatures drop and party season approaches, many are looking for quick, reliable ways to get salon-worthy hair at home.

The TYMO STYLUX Thermal Brush uses Flexi-Fit technology and adjustable nylon bristles that glide easily through the hair, minimising any pulling and breaking. Its staggered bristle layout helps distribute hair evenly around the 1.7-inch ceramic barrel for consistent heat application and a secure hold while styling. For peace of mind, it also features a 30-minute auto shut-off function.

Lightweight at 356g and equipped with dual voltage, it’s ideal for both home use and travel. Unlike traditional round brushes or hot-air tools, it is said to produce a fresh, smooth blowout without blowing hot air.

The ceramic barrel helps reduce frizz and smooth the cuticle, leaving hair soft, glossy and full of life. Combined with a 360° swivel cord and handle, it allows easy, controlled styling from any angle.

With dual PTC heating elements, the brush can also heat up in as little as 20 seconds, the brand says. It is versatile enough for straight styles, loose curls, waves and classic blowouts, as well as offering three temperature settings to suit hair types from 2A to 4A.

LookFantastic also has the Beauty Works x Molly-Mae Hot Brush available for £86, down from £115. This has a 32mm circular, extra-long barrel, dual multi-flex bristles and four ion generators, along with a temperature control ranging from 80 to 220 degrees.

Another product is the Shark FlexStyle 5-in-1 Air Styler & Hair Dryer for £299.99, which comes in the colours black and stone. This offers five ways to style – curl, straighten, volumise, smooth and define – and is said to be perfect for ‘all hair types’.

The TYMO STYLUX has been rated an average 4.1 out of five stars, however, and is also an ‘Amazon’s Choice’ option. One person said: “Finally. A heated brush that gives you the best bouncy blowout and waves. I’ve tried several styling tools over the years, but this hot curling brush has completely simplified my hair routine.

“It’s perfect for creating soft curls, adding volume, or just smoothing frizz without needing multiple tools.” Another wrote: “I’ve only just started using this – I’ve spent hundreds over the years on hair tools, I’ve got a cupboard full. This one makes the grade and does what it says – not heavy, so comfortable to use I would recommend it.”

A third said: “Very happy with the Tymo Stylux. Easy to use and gives lovely volume to my mid-length hair. I like that it’s easy to pack, so I can take it with me on holiday. There are loads of videos online showing how to use it, which is useful. I would recommend it!”

A handful of others slightly disagreed, as one person said: “Great for a bobbed haircut. Turns hair under neatly. The bristles can stick slightly in hair. Overall, I’m very pleased with the brush. Not too heavy.”

Another commented: “Unfortunately, the curls fall out, but I’m not blaming the brush, my hair is just too fine to hold the curl. It does my daughter’s hair nicely.”
