Locals are being advised to steer clear of St George’s Place in Canterbury, as firefighters tackle a massive blaze that has broken out at the abandoned Odeon cinema.

Thick plumes of smoke have been seen across Canterbury on Saturday (February 14) afternoon, leading Kent Fire and Rescue Service to advise all nearby residents to shut their windows and doors as crews work to contain the blaze.
