FatFace’s stunning spring collection starts rom £5

Many of us will have already prepped our spring wardrobes by now, as more and more fashion brands begin dropping their new-season lines. And FatFace is the latest to join in.
The British retailer has unveiled a bright and playful collection that covers all bases for the warmer months ahead. There are lightweight jackets for in-between weather days, easy-breezy dresses, and even swimsuits ready for the holiday season. There’s also a selection of airy nightwear designed for balmy evenings.
Prices start from just £5 (thanks to an undeniably cute new sock range), and the collection is available in sizes six to 24. Below, I’ve picked out some of the standout pieces worth adding to your spring rotation.
Camille Blue Dress – £65

A new spring dress might not sound groundbreaking, but this one will definitely earn its place in any wardrobe. In a light, coastal-inspired blue, it’s exactly the kind of throw-on-and-go piece that works just as well for holiday dinners as it does for laid-back beach days with the family.
The ruffled neckline adds a touch of texture and personality, elevating it beyond a basic sundress. At the same time, the full-length skirt promises to move beautifully with every step (or sea breeze).
One thing to note: a handful of shoppers have mentioned that it comes up slightly oversized, so it may be worth considering sizing down for a more fitted look.
Darcy Ivory Spot Regular Blouse – £49.50

This blouse leans into the polka dot trend that’s all over the high street right now. (Image: FATFACE)
Polka dots are everywhere right now, so it’s no surprise this spotty blouse made our edit. The sleeveless design keeps things fresh for spring, while details such as the classic round neckline, subtle side ties, and delicate tie-back fastening give it a polished, considered finish.
It’s one of those pieces that can easily be dressed up or down. I’d pair it with tailored trousers and ballet flats for the office, or keep things casual with denim shorts and sandals on warmer days.
The same design is also available in soft green gingham, offering a slightly more understated take on the trend. Or, to lean into the spotty craze even further, Nobody’s Child has this polka dot swing jacket for £135.
Erin Olive Green Suede Jacket – £225

This jacket is an ideal mid-weight layer for British springtime. (Image: FATFACE)
Okay, so this suede jacket might be the most expensive pick from the new collection, but I can’t resist its soft, soothing olive green and relaxed fit. Suede is also firmly having a moment right now, something I’ve spotted across both the high street and recent runway collections, giving this piece a trend-led edge without feeling try-hard.
More importantly, it’s ideal for the unpredictability of British springtime. Yes, the sun may finally be making an appearance, but a reliable mid-weight layer is still essential.
For styling, I’d throw it over a floaty floral midi dress and trainers for an effortless daytime look, or pair it with straight-leg jeans, a white tee and loafers for something a little more polished. And for those who would prefer a different colour, this Stradivarius iteration comes in a chic brown and is more affordable at £35.
Rosa Black Ditsy Pop Regular Jumpsuit – £65

Every spring wardrobe needs a little floral, and the Rosa jumpsuit feels like the perfect way to wear it. The playful design features a scattered floral print set against a black backdrop, which really helps the colours pop.
Wide straps offer a comfortable, supportive fit, while the lightweight fabric makes it a brilliant option for holidays or those properly warm, sunny days closer to home.
However, the all-in-one design can be impractical, especially for bathroom breaks. If that’s a dealbreaker, a floral midi dress is a great alternative, such as this tea midi dress (£26.50) from ASOS, complete with puff sleeves and a tie-front.
