Elon Musk emailed Jeffrey Epstein ‘should we head to your island’, bombshell files claim | World | News
Elon Musk asked Jeffrey Epstein whether they should “head to the island”, bombshell Epstein Files claim. Several claims have come to light after a slew of materials were released today. Among them are alleged emails from Tesla and SpaceX boss Elon Musk, which appear to arrange a visit to Epstein’s island in 2013.
The emails appear to be organising a visit to the island during the festive period in 2013, with Musk revealing that he would be in St Barts at the time and asking if there would be a good time to visit. There is no suggestion that being named in the files implies wrongdoing. The emails show Epstein responding to say that he would send his private helicopter to pick up Musk. However, the visit did not take place, and later exchanges revealed that Musk was “disappointed” to have to stay in New York over the holidays.
In the emails, an alleged exchange from Musk claims that he was “really looking forward to finally spending some time together with just fun as the agenda”.
Musk has previously stated that he had “refused” to visit Epstein’s island. Additionally, other alleged emails say that the two met in SpaceX, with Epstein thanking Musk for taking him on a tour.
Musk appears in other emails among the millions of documents released today. For example, one email shows Epstein asking if Musk could attend a dinner in 2013.
Meanwhile, other exchanges are more casual, such as a chat between the two about Musk’s sleeping habits.
A separate 2015 email from Emirati businessman Sultan Bin Sulayem asked Epstein if he “had your dinner with Elon Musk“.
A DOJ statement said: “This production may include fake or falsely submitted images, documents or videos, as everything that was sent to the FBI by the public was included in the production that is responsive to the Act. Some of the documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear, the claims are unfounded and false, and if they have a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”
