Discord has unveiled a new feature, similar to Spotify Wrapped, that provides a summary of user activity throughout 2025. Discord is a complimentary communication platform enabling users to interact via text, voice, and video calls, as well as engage in gaming.

Initially popular among gamers, Discord has broadened its appeal to a wider audience, with individuals connecting over diverse interests ranging from literature to fandoms of specific personalities or celebrities. The newly introduced feature for 2025, dubbed Discord Checkpoint, offers users insights into their messaging habits, top games played, and the friends they’ve spent the most time with.

The feature also reveals users’ favourite emojis and servers, along with the number of messages sent and the duration spent in voice chat.

In a TikTok post, Discord announced: “Your Discord recap is here! See the fun things you did in 2025 – # of messages sent, top games played, friends you spent the most time with, your favourite emojis, and more. Update your app to get started and learn more in the link in BIO.”

While Checkpoint has been temporarily deactivated for mobile devices, users can still access their Checkpoint on desktop and browser platforms. Some users have reported difficulties using the feature, but Discord advises that this may be due to incorrect settings on their device.

A spokesperson for the platform explained: “If you don’t see a Checkpoint, you may not have had enough activity on Discord to summarize your 2025. Or, you have toggled off “Use data to personalize my Discord experience.

“Once users have examined their year on Discord, they will be paired with one of ten different Checkpoint cards, which arrive with a corresponding avatar decoration.

How to view your Discord Checkpoint 2025

Desktop/Browser users must ensure they have the most recent version of the app before clicking the green flag icon in the top right corner to access their Checkpoint.

Mobile checkpoint has been temporarily disabled. Users would have been able to view Checkpoint on their phone by downloading the most recent version of the app and tapping the ‘You’ tab in the bottom right corner before pressing the Checkpoint banner.

Why don’t I have a Discord Checkpoint 2025

If you don’t have a Checkpoint, it may be because you’re new to Discord or were not active enough in 2025 to compile stats for Checkpoint.

Another reason could be because you didn’t have data personalisation setting disabled.

Even if you don’t receive a Checkpoint, you’ll still be able to claim the Checkpoint Avatar Decoration. To claim the decoration, follow the steps for desktop or mobile.

When can I view my Discord Checkpoint 2025

Users will be able to view their 2025 Checkpoint Until January 15, 2026.

Will Discord Checkpoint continue after 2025

Discord confirmed they rolled out the feature to mark its 10th anniversary milestone.

They explained: “We launched Checkpoint in 2025 to celebrate Discord’s 10th anniversary: a decade of the games you’ve played, the friendships you’ve made, and the communities you’ve built here.

“It’s something many of you have asked for, so it felt like the perfect time to give you a personalized look back at your year with us. Plans for Checkpoint beyond 2025 are still unfolding. Stay tuned!”.
