The jacket is available in red, brown, black and navy – all priced the same – and in sizes UK 8 to 20. It is “insulated, water repellent and on trend”, according to its online description. It uses Atomlight insulation, and its makers Regatta describe Atomlight technology as offering “soft, compressible and super lightweight insulation down to temperatures of -25’C.” They say Atomlight Technology is also water repellent, quick drying and highly breathable for extra comfort. Another advantage of Atomlight that Regatta outline on their website is that it makes their clothes easily compressible.

For added weather protection and to keep ears warm, the jacket also comes with a hood that can be pulled up when needed. Its long length means more coverage for legs, and for shoppers who want to know the finer details, it is 100% polyester and can be washed at 30 degrees.

When I first saw the photos I was expecting a matte black jacket however it does have a slight sheen to it which I didn’t really want however I’m really happy with the purchase and glad I bought it.”
