The set price will drop down to £72.20 if shoppers use the code BEAUTY5 – a big saving on its original price of £95. It features some of Clarins’ most loved products and would be worth more than £167 if bought individually.

The set would make a great gift for a loved one, or as a treat to indulge in some party season self care as the Christmas countdown gets into full swing. The 12-day advent calendar includes Clarins full size Beauty Flash Balm and Lip Comfort Oil, along with a travel size Gentle Foaming Cleanser Trial and New Total Eye Lit Trial.

Also included is Clarins’ Cryo-Flash Cream-Mask, a mini SOS Primer White, Velvet Cleansing Milk and Exfoliating Body Scrub. The luxury beauty brand’s Wonder Volume XXL, Lip Perfector, Moisture-Rich Body Lotion and Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate complete the set.

This ultimate skincare set is beautifully packaged in a festive-looking bright red box, with the advent numbers labelled on small gift boxes to be taken out one by one and opened. The Clarins calendar is proving popular on the Debenhams website though, with a raft of five star reviews.

One said: “Awesome product! Last year’s was excellent, great products and surprises behind the doors, and looking at the pictures of this year’s I won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait!”. Another wrote: “Great Christmas gift, this is the third year I’ve bought the Clarins advent calendar. Definitely the best after trying a number of others, no contest. Worth every penny.”

One reviewer said it was hard to wait until December 1 to begin the calendar, writing: “Wow! What a beautiful advent calendar! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these beautiful treasures. Such great value and a perfect selection of treasures to try!”

However one did point out that it was too early to give it a proper review, saying: “Isn’t it a little premature asking what the product is like when it’s October and not the 12 days of Christmas yet?”

And another said they ‘haven’t opened it yet’ but were ‘excited’ to try different products.
