Claim a free Fitbit worth £139 this week – how to get yours now

Black Friday has come and gone but that doesn’t mean the great tech deals have ended. We’ve just spotted this outstanding offer from the folks at Mobiles.co.uk where you can claim a free Fitbit Versa 4 worth £139, according to the retailer. A quick glance at the Google Store however and the Versa 4 is currently £179.99, so bagging one for free is very tempting.

Mobiles.co.uk will let you claim the fitness tracker for free if you purchase the Google Pixel 9 Pro smartphone on a 24 month contract. That sounds like an expensive undertaking, but on closer inspection it’s available for a good, reasonable price.

That’s not always the case with phone contracts, but we’ve run the maths, and you can get the Pixel 9 Pro for £29.99 per month and only £19 upfront, getting you 100GB monthly data and unlimited calls and texts on the iD Mobile network. iD uses Vodafone’s signal, and is owned by Currys, which also owns iD.

This contract totals £738.76 over two years, which is more than £150 less than the £999 RRP of the Google Pixel 9 Pro in the first place – and that price wouldn’t get you a mobile plan. For less than £750, you’re bagging a brand new high-end phone with 100GB data, plus a free Fitbit Versa 4. This is one of the best deals we’ve seen in ages.

We loved the Pixel 9 Pro when we reviewed it, calling it “the better Google phone buy for most people with superior cameras, better build quality and a much cheaper price”.

Currently, there is only stock of the pink Pixel 9 Pro, and the site says it’s a pre-order that you’ll receive by 16 January. Hopefully more colours become available soon.

To claim your free Fitbit, you must purchase the deal before 11:59pm GMT on 7 January 2025, and then “the claim must be submitted 14 days after purchase between 25th December 2024 and 20th February”, according to Mobile.co.uk. You can claim your free Fitbit here.

It’s worth noting that your monthly payment will rise each April “in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI). rate of inflation, +3.9%”, according to Mobiles.co.uk. But that’s only two price rises, after which you’ll own the phone outright and can switch to a cheaper plan if you like. Most subsidised phone contracts work this way.
