Charlotte Tilbury wand that makes skin ‘look younger’ reduced in set
Many are back to work this week, but with New Year’s Eve just days away, many will be seeking the perfect look for the big countdown. Charlotte Tilbury is one beauty retailer running post-Christmas sales, and shoppers are snapping up one of its travel kits for less than half of its total £67 value.
Featuring four makeup minis of the brand’s best sellers, the Mini Viral Beauty Icons collection is down to £33.75, so each item in the set effectively costs £8.43. Perfect as a belated Christmas gift or a cheaper way to get several of the brand’s cult favourites, the set has everything required for on-the-go glam.
Kicking things off is the Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm, a viral social media hit that works as both a blush and highlighter. It delivers a dewy, soft-focus finish that the brand says is clinically proven to last up to 12 hours, according to a test on 30 people.
The lips get some attention next, with Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic nude-pink Pillow Talk Matte Revolution lipstick with a hydrating formula that lasts up to 10 hours, according to the brand. It has been paired with a Pillow Talk Lip Cheat lip liner that’s perfect for creating a full and defined pout.
Finally, shoppers can lock in their look with the ultimate makeup insurance policy – the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray. This lightweight and waterproof mist primes and sets makeup for up to 16 hours, the brand says.
Elsewhere, Boots has cut the price of this Revolution All Star Beauty gift set from £50 to £25. It brings together six of the brand’s full-sized products, including a blush, fixing mist, the viral Wrap Lash Mascara, and there’s also a buffing brush, too.
Alternatively, shoppers could pick up this Ted Baker The Full Flourish gift set from Superdrug for £14.99, down from £20. The collection includes a mascara, lipstick, lip gloss, and four eyeshadows, delivering multiple daily essentials in one neat set.
As for the Charlotte Tilbury Mini Viral Beauty Icons, many customers have left reviews on Space NK, where the set and its individual products are also available. One shopper bought the Pinkgasm Beauty Light Wand, sharing: “I purchased this a few weeks ago and it is amazing, it gives me a beautiful glow and makes me look younger.”
A second gave their thoughts on the full set: “Probably my favourite of the Charlotte Tilbury sets as it contains a few iconic products and works for most folks – those who like a more natural look and those who prefer more polish. The Beauty Light Wand gives everyone a glow, The Pillow Talk Lip Cheat is super natural, The Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick is better for night time, and the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray keeps it all in place.”
A third also gave five stars, saying: “Wow, amazing quality and high-end product. I really love how the lipstick is so easy to apply, and the setting spray is marvelous!”
One added with their experience with the Beauty Light Wand: “I love this blush, it’s such a lovely shade! I was nervous to try this as I’d only ever used powder blusher before, however I found it quite easy to apply.
“I put some on my hand and then use a sponge to build it up. I’m giving it four stars, as the applicator can be quite annoying and messy!”
Another chimed in on the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, giving it four stars: “Good setting spray, does its job. I did not notice any extreme hold compared to more affordable alternatives, so unsure if the price is justified.
“Otherwise, an extremely pleasant smell, the nozzle distributes the spray nicely, and it dries quickly. I also tried it as a primer, very pleased with how the foundation sits on top of it, and the packaging is definitely very luxurious, which is always pleasant.”
