Black Ops 7 release time announced and it’s bad news for PC fans | Gaming | Entertainment
Black Ops 7 is nearly here, and it won’t be long before players can dive into its new multiplayer maps and Dark Aether Zombies storyline. It’s almost time for a fresh FPS overhaul, with the yearly Call of Duty release as anticipated as ever.
Call of Duty has long been the most recognisable and iconic shooter franchise, largely for good reason. The franchise’s shift towards live service practices such as battle passes and seasonal rollouts has irked some players, but its rivalry with Battlefield 6 continues unabated. With a thought-provoking narrative promised for the Black Ops 7 campaign, it appears we could be fortunate enough to witness a positive step forward for the series.
But when you can get your hands on Black Ops 7 depends on what platform you intend to play it. The release time is different for one platform in particular.
However, the game’s inclusion in the first November Xbox Game Pass update will deliver the title on day one to Ultimate subscribers.
It’s certainly a nice touch, but following the hefty Xbox Game Pass price increase, many left the service – meaning fewer users may play it than last year’s Call of Duty game.
Regardless, Black Ops 7 is inbound with a new Dark Aether-led Zombies experience and some dazzling new maps for multiplayer, reports All Out Gaming. Time will tell if it’s enough to entice franchise fans back into the fray.
Fortunately for those of us keen for some more Call of Duty action, it won’t be long until it actually arrives. So, when exactly can we expect Black Ops 7 to release?
Here’s what you need to know.
Black Ops 7 release time and countdown
Unfortunately, owners of one gaming platform are going to have to wait a little longer than the others. PC gamers have been warned to expect a later release time than those on console.
The release time for Black Ops 7 is scheduled for Friday, November 14 at midnight local time on console (with exceptions across the United States).
But PC gamers have to wait another five hours in the UK, with Black Ops 7 available at 5am on Friday, November 14.
In the US, it’s out at 9pm PST on Thursday, November 13 for consoles, and 12am EST on Friday, November 14 on PC.
For console gamers in the United States, the game’s launch time is midnight for users on the East Coast, and it launches simultaneously in other US time zones, making the release time 9pm PST / 11pm CST on Thursday, November 13.
It’s not ideal for players who wish to play together across different platforms, but the lure of an immediate team deathmatch may be too tempting for those participating via Xbox Game Pass.
