‘Beautiful’ restaurant with gardens makes UK list of best fine dining | UK | Travel

This intimate  restaurant with stunning interiors takes the number one spot in the area and also just happens to make the top list of fine dining restaurants in the entire UK

The Tudor Pass sits within Egham, a town bursting with beautiful buildings in the Borough of Runnymede, set back in the Surrey countryside. Its exclusive feel offers just seven tables for a special experience celebrating the rich history of both the building and its area.

Those dining here can expect a unique visit with an interactive service style, all without the hustle and bustle of an open kitchen, led by Chef Stefano Di Giosia, His signature dishes are inspired by classic flavours with tastign menus rooted in seasonal ingredient and plenty of personality.

Having worked formely at the likes of The Fat Duck and KOL, his passion for food shines through the theatre of it all, and it does not go unnoticed by his guests. The place boasts a one-Michelin star for its high-quality cooking, and customers couldn’t agree more.

A TripAdvisor review from one impressed customer states that it was “one of the top international dining experiences from a foodie”. They claimed: “Our experience at Tudor Pass implores me to provide a review placing this as one of the top restaurants you can visit, and it is at a very reasonable price point compared to all of the others.”

Another person shared their dining experience, writing: “We’ve enjoyed tasting menus at a number of restaurants, including those with a Michelin star. You usually get one or two courses that miss the mark a bit – but our meal at The Tudor Pass was wonderful from start to finish.

“Every course was delicately presented and a delight to eat – every course made us smile!” Meanwhile, someone else claimed that their meal was delicious and each course had a “real depth of flavour”.

Celebrating the highest level of excellence in dining, the Travellers’ Choice Awards via TripAdvisor have rounded up the ultimate list of fine dining spots across the UK. Sitting at number 23 on the 25-restaurant-long list is the Tudor Pass, joining the likes of renowned eateries The Witchery Restaurant in Edinburgh and Gouqi Restaurant in London.

One recent visitor wrote about their dining experience, saying: “The food was sublime; the tasting menu was exceptional (and we’ve had a good few worldwide).” Another added: “This was so much more than we were expecting, and a number of the dishes, as well as the extra touches such as the story cards behind the dishes, made this feel more like a two-star than a one-star restaurant.”

The Tudor Pass forms part of the Great Fosters five-star hotel resort, accompanied by stunning gardens that guests can gaze at outside of the mediaeval-style windows. Whether staying at the resort or making a special occasion even more memorable, it’s clear that there’s a reason this Edham restaurant has made its way onto such a highly awarded list, and the quality of the experience is certainly shown within its pricing.
