The opening ceremony began with proud Wurundjeri woman Chenile Chandler doing a Call to Country inside Rod Laver Arena.

Crowded House then performed ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’, ‘Fall at Your Feet’, ‘Something So Strong’ and ‘Weather With You’ as the opening act for Agassi, Federer, Hewitt and Rafter’s doubles exhibition.

Federer already has the crowd in a frenzy. Fans are fired up to see him back in Melbourne.
