PlayStation Plus subscribers are just moments away from being able to download and play the brand new games line-up for April 2026. The free PS5 games for April 2026 include fan-favourite Soulslike Lords of the Fallen. The titles have an April 7 release date for Essential subscribers, and a 9am BST UK release time. That’s 1am PDT / 4am EDT if you live in the US and 10am CET for European subscribers.

Lords of the Fallen is a dark-fantasy Soulslike that has a Mostly Positive review score on Steam.

The game features a unique dual-world mechanic where players enter a parallel world to overcome obstacles.

It also features the same challenging enemy encounters and tough boss battles you would expect from a Soulslike.

It will be joined by somewhat niche action game Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. The multiplayer action game is based on the popular Japanese series of the same name.

It features 21 characters from the Sword Art Online series, each with their own unique roles and abilities. It also boasts a single-player campaign with an original story, as well as co-op multiplayer, boss raid mode, and Free Roam.

The collection contains the original trio of games from the PSOne era, complete with the option to play with old-school graphics or upgraded visuals.

It also contains various expansions and secret levels, as well as a new challenge mode with unlockable costumes.
