Just days after the release of update 40.10and Fortnite fans are counting down to the release of the classic Marvel Endgame mode in OG. Seven years after the iconic game mode made its debut in Fortnite, the LTM is making a comeback, only this time with new Mythics that weren’t playable in the original. The OG Fortnite x Avengers Endgame mode has an April 3 release date om PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch and Android. According to the in-game countdown timer, Endgame will be playable from 2pm BST UK time. That’s 6am PST / 9am EST if you live in the US, or 3pm CET in Europe.

The news was announced by Epic Games on X, alongside a preview of the new loot that can be picked up.

“This is the endgame… or is it?!” reads an Epic tweet.

“We’re bringing it back rebalanced and with some new lootpool additions! Jump into the Endgame LTM and defeat Thanos and the Chitauri on April 3.”

Mythics, items and weapons available in the Endgame mode include Captain America’s Shield, the Infinity Gauntlet, Chitauri Jet Pack, Hawkeye’s Bow, War Machine’s Hover Jets and War Machine’s Auto Turret.

That’s on top of Thor’s Stormbreaker, Iron Man’s Flight Kit, Iron Man’s Combat Kit, Shuri’s Black Panther Claws and War Machine’s Arsenal.

Finally, there’s the Chitauri Laser Rifle and the Chitauri Energy Launcher.

Like the original mode, players will be split into two teams of Avengers and Chitauri with multiple respawns.

The Chitauri must collect all of the Infinity Stones to disable the Avengers’ respawns, before eliminating the remaining enemies.

The first to grab an Infinity Stone will turn into Thanos, complete with devastating powers.

The hero team must eliminate the Chitauri and then take down Thanos to win the match.
