Luke Littler is earning millions from his darts career but has still found the time to start a side hustle. The 19-year-old continues to dominate on the oche, leading the PDC Order of Merit with £2.9million in prize money.

‘The Nuke’ became a two-time world champion and has also clinched the World Masters and UK Open titles so far this year. He has previously admitted to spending some of his winnings on football cards. In January, the teenager sold some of his collection on eBay. His girlfriend Faith Millar shared images of the darts ace packaging sports cards to send to collectors shortly before he jetted off to the Bahrain Masters. However, Littler is now reportedly attempting to turn his passion into a lucrative new business.

Litter has set up a company to make money from his sports card collection. He has incorporated D10 Card Collective Ltd at Companies House, with the name being a nod to his favourite double on a dartboard.

The Sun reports that documents show the purpose of the business is the “retail sale of games and toys in specialised stores” and “retail sale of other second-hand goods in stores”. The cost of autographed Littler memorabilia underscores the value of sports trading cards, with the report adding that a signed Littler card has been listed on eBay for £22,500.

Meanwhile, Littler has also attempted to register a new slogan as a trademark. Initially taking the sport by storm at 16 years old, he has applied to trademark the phrase Born to Win.

The reigning world champion has submitted an application to the Intellectual Property Office for sole rights to the slogan. If granted, he would be able to sell clothes and sporting goods that include the phrase. The application is currently under examination.
