PS Plus April 2026 headline game leaks early and it makes total sense | Gaming | Entertainment
According to trusted leaker Billbil-kun, dark fantasy action RPG Lords of the Fallen will headline the PS Plus line-up when the games are released on April 7.
It’s a strong headliner and one that probably shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given a sequel is launching later this year.
The release makes perfect sense, as it gives more people a chance to play the original before the sequel makes its debut.
PS Plus subscribers who enjoy the experience are more likely to give the follow-up a try, which should boost sales.
The original Lords of the Fallen (not the rubbish 2014 version) features a dual-world mechanic where players enter a parallel world to overcome obstacles.
As one of the better Soulslike games, it also features challenging enemy encounters and tough boss battles.
You can check it out for yourself by taking a look at the gameplay trailer below.
Lords of the Fallen will be joined by at least two additional games when the line-up launches in April.
Based on recent PS Plus releases, however, there’s a chance we could end up with four titles.
The March line-up, for example, consists of PGA Tour 2K25, as well as Slime Rancher 2, Monster Hunter Rise and Elder Scrolls Online Collection Gold Road.
The Gold Road version contains all of the main chapter quests and zones, which equates to an enormous amount of content.
