OnlyFans owner and reclusive billionaire Leonid Radvinsky has died aged 43, the company announced on Monday. A spokesperson said in a statement: “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer.

“His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.” The Ukrainian-American acquired OnlyFans’ parent company Fenix International in 2018, becoming the majority shareholder and director. Two years prior, British father-son duo Guy and Tim Stokely came up with the idea for and built the streaming platform.

Following its success, the platform was reportedly exploring a sale of a majority stake to investment firm Architect Capital, valuing the company at around $5.5 billion, including debt.

As of February, the talks were still in their early stages, an anonymous source told Bloomberg.

OnlyFans takes a 20% fee on most subscriptions and content sold. In 2024, it reported more than 4.6 million creator accounts and 377 million fans, generating a revenue of $1.4 billion.

That same year, Mr Radvinsky moved his ownership of OnlyFans into a trust.

In 2025, it paid out a record $701 million, the Financial Times reports. Since 2021, Mr Radvinsky paid himself around $1.8 billion in dividends from the platform.

Prior to his death, he also ​ran venture capital fund Leo, founded in ‌2009 ⁠and focusing primarily on investments in technology companies.

OnlyFans said its boss supported “several philanthropic projects globally”.

His website says he donated to charities including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, open source initiatives, and the West Suburban Humane Society.
