Snooker scores LIVE: Ronnie O’Sullivan vs Thepchaiya Un-Nooh updates | Other | Sport
Ronnie O’Sullivan doubles his advantage in this first-to-10 final.
Un-Nooh got in early with a break of 30, but his cue ball left something to be desired and it ended with a horrible miscue on the black.
A safety battle ensued with both players aware that the next pot should set up a winning break, with the pack of reds positioned perfectly.
Un-Nooh couldn’t bring the cue ball back up to baulk and O’Sullivan was away again, already warmed up from his opening break.
But the Rocket missed a relatively easy red to middle-right, only for Un-Nooh to be wayward with the very next shot, a similar red to middle-left.
The Thai star has not started well at all.
O’Sullivan followed up with 37, to move 37 ahead, leaving his opponent requiring a snooker.
He screwed in behind the brown and then black well but O’Sullivan escaped expertly and with just five colours on the table, it proved too difficult an obstacle to overcome for Un-Nooh.
