Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s new home has huge double security fence installed | Royal | News

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s new property on Sandringham Estate in Norfolk has a double layer of protection added, as well as a luxury carpet. The 66-year-old former prince has yet to move into Marsh Farm, as he awaits the completion of renovations, but he is currently living at Wood Farm.

While final preparations are being put in place inside and out, a wooden gate has been installed in the middle of a new fence placed in front of an older gate, presumably to block the view of the farmhouse. The tall double-doored gate means only the roof of Andrew’s newest home is visible when standing on the path outside the Wolferton property, say reports.

Workmen from family-run company Linney Cooper were also spotted at the property in Wolferton. The company, which holds two Royal Warrants, provides luxury carpets and has installed flooring in numerous royal residences, states Hello! Magazine.

Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have all seen work done by the group.

The allegations against Andrew include claims he shared classified information with associates, including convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing, including his Epstein links, but has not directly responded to the latest allegations.

There has been much discussion about the former Duke of York still being in the line of succession, with him currently sitting eighth in line to the throne.

However, any such move to strip his position from the line of succession would necessitate approval from all 15 Commonwealth realms that recognise Charles as their head of state.
