The reason for this has now been explained by Gemma, who is reportedly a big fan of Meghan Markle.

Gemma told News.com.au: ““I keep having to pinch myself that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is coming to sit down with me.

“I’m just a mum from Sydney with a podcast that started as a passion for those trying to live their best lives.”

Gemma said she tried to persuade her former co-host, who stepped down from the podcast earlier this year, to return for the special event and interview Meghan.

However, the answer was a no for reportedly one reason.

Gemma said: “She (Jackie) was adamant, ‘you need to do this yourself, and this is meant to be you’.”

Meghan is expected to attend the women-only weekend event in Sydney on April 17.

The event costs around £1,440-a-head to attend and runs for three days, although it is believed Meghan will not be present for the whole retreat.

It is believed Meghan will talk about her life in the public eye as a woman.
