A huge emergency incident is unfolding at an Edinburgh Tesco with several vehicles, including an air ambulance, spotted in the area. The incident started just after 9am this morning in the supermarket car park on Meadow Place Road, Corstorphine.

Pictures from the scene show a heavy emergency services presence, with a cordon in place, while an air ambulance has recently landed. A local resident told Edinburgh Live: “My son’s dad was driving past and there were loads of four-by-fours, police cars, it was an extremely heavy police presence there. He called to say, ‘What’s going on?’ He said it was quite intense.”
