The NFL has laid on a lavish culinary spread for supporters making their way to Levi’s Stadium for Super Bowl LX – though the gastronomic adventure comes with a hefty price tag.

Thousands of New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks devotees have flocked to the Bay Area in anticipation of the Super Bowl XLIX rematch, with the showpiece event projected to draw 1.3 million visitors. For the fortunate few who secured tickets, the NFL has spent the past year collaborating with Levi’s Stadium’s catering team, carefully selecting produce, perfecting dishes, and designing presentations to showcase the region’s distinctive culinary heritage.

The opulent offering boasts creative takes on classic matchday fare, with premium steaks, burgers, hot dogs and beverages on offer at the food outlets.

The Gilroy Garlic Steak Frites, featuring seared California hanger steak accompanied by a rich au poivre sauce, crisped Gilroy garlic and pink peppercorns, carries a £27 price point.

Meanwhile, the Chinatown Dog offers a char-grilled footlong all-beef frankfurter garnished with Chinese hot mustard, char siu pork, sriracha and shredded yellow daikon, retailing at £16 each.

Those craving something more substantial can tackle The LX Hammer Burger, a towering creation featuring melt-in-your-mouth braised bone-in beef shank, roasted mirepoix demi-glace, and Point Reyes blue cheese fondue nestled in a house-baked brioche bun. Yet the cost is equally substantial – an astonishing £132 ($180).

For those with a penchant for fish or seafood, the menu boasts a £30 ($40) serving of Dungeness Crab Potachos, complete with Kennebec potato chips and a luxurious Petaluma white cheddar fondue sauce.

When it comes to sweet treats, spectators can indulge in the £22 ($30) San Fran Sticky Roll – a homemade sourdough cinnamon roll lavished with a white chocolate mascarpone crème anglaise and crowned with spun sugar. Alternatively, they can savour the Fog City Frozen Irish Coffee – a concoction of vanilla bean ice cream and cold brew blended with Irish whiskey and topped off with an ice cream cookie sandwich.

The drinks list is equally extravagant, with beers starting at £12.50 ($17) for an American canned lager and £14 ($19) for a premium brew. A glass of wine will set you back £12.50.

Signature cocktails on offer include the £17 ($23) Halftime Show watermelon margarita and the “Pier 39” Paloma, featuring agave syrup and ruby red grapefruit juice. For those wanting a double, it’s priced at £26.50 ($36).

Super Bowl LX will see 40 executive chefs manning the kitchens and a hospitality team of 2,500 ensuring guests are well catered for on the big day.

An estimated 10,000 hot dogs, 1,000 loaded footlong dogs, 2,000 pounds of prime beef tenderloin, and 1,500 pounds of local Dungeness crab will be ready to satisfy the appetites of hungry football fans at Levi’s Stadium.

The Seahawks enter Super Bowl LX as the 4.5-point favourites against the Patriots, marking the second championship showdown between the two teams.

Seattle will be looking to settle old scores following their 28-24 defeat to New England in Super Bowl XLIX back in 2015.
