A tragic discovery was made on Tuesday morning, February 3, near a primary school in Willenhall. The body of a man, who hasn’t yet been named, was found in Delamere Road, less than a mile away from New Invention Infant School. 

A police cordon was set up in the residential area, with pictures from the scene showing two police cars seen parked inside. An investigation into the circumstances of the death of the man has been launched, West Midlands Police said. 

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said, as reported by Birmingham Live: “We were called by West Midlands Ambulance Service at around 7.25am after the death of a man who was found on Delamere Road, Willenhall. 

“An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of exactly what’s happened.

“Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 610 of 3 February.”
