Royal fans have given out a brutal verdict about the latest photogate row between Meghan Markle and Kim Kardashian. The US celebrity broke her silence this week about what really happened with the deleted photographs of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party.

Harry and Meghan raised eyebrows last November when they were seen having a jolly time in Hollywood, while the rest of the Royal Family were marking Remembrance in the UK. The Sussex couple were photographed arriving at Jeff Bezos’s home, where the party took place, but sparked further backlash when pictures of them emerged on Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian’s Instagram accounts.

The pictures of Harry and Meghan were later deleted, raising questions about the reason behind the move.

Kim spoke on the latest episode of the Khloe in Wonderland podcast and revealed what really happened.

The SKIMS founder said they were first told they could upload the pictures, only to be asked to take them down.

Now, royal fans have given their verdict on the US star’s comments.

One user wrote on X: “For the first time ever, Meghan & Harry are in the same position they put the Royal Family in during the Oprah interview.

“The Kardashians know they can say anything, and Meghan can’t give her version of events because of the power dynamics. Kim essentially silenced her.”

A second one wrote: “Imagine burning bridges with the Kardashians. [laughing face emoji] There won’t be anyone else who will take Meghan’s side.”

A third one said: “Meg thought the Kardashians were going to stay quite. Big mistake. This girl won’t allow someone to trash them. Specially when they are right!”

A fourth one opined: “Big time. I love to see it. I don’t like The Kardashians, but this was a masterpiece in silencing […]. Chefs kiss!”

A fifth one commented: “GO KIM!!!!! About damn time someone had the guts to call them out.”

She said: “Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now and they have a really sweet relationship.

“We took a photo and then I think we were all going through them. We’re all on, you know, communicating about like what we’re going to post.

“We’re never ones to post without permission. We are like it’s not who we are.

“We’re very respectful. Yeah, like we have photo we have the craziest, funnest photos from that night, you know, but we were posting just like fun photos and so dignified photos.”

She added: “We were we were told that it was totally cool to post and then after it was posted, I think they realised it was Remembrance Day and they didn’t want to be seen at a party even though it’s already up.

“And then it was taken down. And then I think they realised, like this was so silly!”

Her sister also commented on how they also attended the Baby2Baby Gala and posed with Serena Williams before the birthday bash, with Kim saying: “Well, it’s like a charity event.

“So, like, that was fine, but maybe not partying and dancing on the dance floor or whatever. So we took them down to respect Remembrance Day.”
