Insider’s verdict on Eugenie and Beatrice’s response to Andrew scandal | Royal | News
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has faced a number of changes over the last few months following scandals surrounding his previous friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The scandals and accusations, which Andrew denies, have not only resulted in him losing his royal titles and his Royal Lodge home, but they have also reportedly changed the relationship he has with his daughters, too.
As widely reported, it is believed that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been put in a difficult position as a result of their fathers’ latest scandals, with Eugenie reportedly cutting her father off. This is despite the fact Beatrice, 37, was seen visiting their father just days ago. However, while it is believed Andrew’s relationship with his daughters has hit a rocky patch, a family friend has now issued a blunt five-word verdict.
While this may be the case, it is believed Eugenie and Beatrice are having to distance themselves publicly from both their parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
While the York family reportedly remain “resilient” regardless of the scandals Andrew and Sarah have faced, it is not known how often Beatrice and Eugenie have been seeing their parents, and whether they will visit their father often when he leaves Royal Lodge in Windsor and moves to Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate.
This is a move that is expected to take place within weeks, with Andrew reportedly not happy about the fact he will be living in a much smaller property than the 30-room mansion he has been used to.
As Marsh Farm is still undergoing renovations, it is believed Andrew may be temporarily housed elsewhere on the Sandringham Estate before being moved to the farmhouse.
Recent work at the property has included CCTV and security systems being installed.
