Tesco is making a major change to home deliveries from this Friday to help shoppers save money. The supermarket chain is bringing back free deliveries on Whoosh orders for a limited time this weekend, but the deal only applies to orders with a minimum £25 spend.

Tesco’s Whoosh service is a same-day rapid delivery service that promises orders will arrive from store to door in as little as 20 minutes, and is available to shoppers via the Tesco app or website. Around 1,700 everyday essentials are available to order via the service, including fresh food, meals and baby essentials, but the service usually comes with a minimum delivery charge of £2.99. But for three days this weekend, Tesco is removing the standard £2.99 delivery service from qualifying Whoosh orders, allowing shoppers to pocket some savings.

The offer is available on Whoosh orders with a minimum spend of £25 made between Friday, January 23, and Sunday, January 25. 

Eligible customers will receive free delivery with the £2.99 delivery fee automatically removed at checkout and shown as “offer savings”.

Any orders under £15 will still incur a £2.50 minimum basket charge and won’t qualify for free delivery.

Tesco said the limited offer is a chance for shoppers to avoid the cold and wet January weather and instead get all the cosy night-in essentials delivered straight to their door without having to pay a delivery fee.

Tesco Whoosh is available via the Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app, or via Tesco online. Shoppers don’t need a Clubcard to use it, but you can use your loyalty card to earn points or spend vouchers for potential discounts.

Simply enter your postcode to check availability in your area and book your Whoosh delivery slot. Shoppers will need to spend £25 or more to get free delivery all weekend. No code is needed, and there is no limit on orders.
