Spotify Wrapped 2025: How to view yours and what’s new this year

Each year, music streaming service Spotify sends all its subscribers a listening summary of their year called Spotify Wrapped. It summarises your music in stats and figures, and the 2025 edition has started rolling out worldwide today, Wednesday December 3.

You will be able to view your Spotify Wrapped summary in the app for iPhone, iPad and Android. You can’t view it on a web broswer.

To see your Spotify Wrapped, head to your Spotify app today and see if it pops up. If not, a button at the top of the screen saying ‘Wrapped’ will appear. Tap on that and you’re away.

You’ll then be pummelled with stats from your 2025 on the app, with songs you’ve listened to most playing in the background (sound on!). You’ll first be told how many minutes you listened to Spotify for. You can tap ‘Share this story’ to broadcast your music love to your social media feeds, if that’s your thing.

You’ll also be told how many genres of music your tuned into this year, with the top five ranked.

In a new twist, Wrapped will tell you your lsitening age based on the era of music you listened to. This is surely set for a viral moment – it’s bound to delight some users and embarrass others.

You will also be told exactly how many different songs you listened to, followed by your most listened to. Your top five will then be ranked, eminently shareable with your social circles online.

The app, in another fresh move, has counted how many full albums you listened through this year. Expect low numbers if you’re a playlist person.

Wrapped then dishes out how many artists you listened to, along with a top five to share far and wide.

You’ll even get a cute new animation of your top artists racing each other throughout the year to see who your number one is.

Alongside these headline stats, Spotify also reveals its global stats as to the most listened to songs on its platform.

The most listened to song globally on Spotify in 2025 was Die With A Small by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, followed by Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather.

Alex Warren, Bad Bunny and Gracie Abrams also feature in the rundown.

The UK’s top listened to songs shake out a little differently:

  1. Alex Warren – Ordinary
  2. Gracie Abrams – That’s So True
  3. Lola Young – Messy
  4. Chappell Roan – Pink Pony Club
  5. Billie Eilish – Birds of a Feather

  3. Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft

Spotify Wrapped ends up being a major annual online event as people tussle to let their friends, family and followers know about their music tastes.

Some others may want to keep theirs to themselves.

Other streaming services have moved to copy Wrapped, but none are as big a social event as Spotify’s original music roundup.
