Roman jumper shoppers are buying in every colour as price drops

Roman’s latest knitwear deal is turning heads, with shoppers snapping up a £32 jumper that many say is so ‘flattering’ they’ve gone back to buy it in multiple colours. The style has quickly become a customer favourite, especially now that its price has been reduced.

The Black Button Detail Curved Hem Jumper is now £32 down from £40 on Roman, which saves shoppers 20% off their purchase. This jumper comes in sizes 10 to 20, and also colours khaki (£40) and light pink (£40) for those who may want some variety.

The cosy knitted jumper is designed for comfort during the colder months, featuring a soft feel and full-length sleeves to keep buyers warm. Its round neckline and relaxed fit make it an easy everyday piece, ideal for pairing with jeans and trainers for simple, effortless style.

A curved hemline adds a flattering touch, while side button detailing gives the jumper a bit of extra interest without being over the top. Made from a blend of acrylic, polyamide and polyester, it’s machine washable and measures approximately 71cm in length.

An alternative option could be the Burgundy Crew Neck Jumper for £17.09 from New Look that comes in sizes small to extra-large, as well as a range of colours such as black, light grey, dark green and bright pink.

There is also a bestseller available on M&S with the Pure Merino Wool Crew Neck Jumper for £36. This comes in colours black, cappuccino, chilli, fern green and indigo among a couple of others and sizes 6 to 24 and customers say it ‘fits true to size’.

The £32 jumper from Roman has been rated five stars on the website however as one person said: “Had this hemline previously, very flattering.” Another wrote: “Lovely and soft wool. Looks smart on and the button detail just sets it off beautifully. I am 84 years old and feel stylish wearing it.”

A third commented: “I love this jumper. The look and fit are fabulous. Looks smart and can dress this jumper up or down. I liked it so much that I bought another one in pink.”

A small handful of others disagreed as one person wrote: “I got this jumper for a really good price and love it. I am usually a size 14/16, but opted for a size 16, so that I can wear a thermal underneath. The fit is just right, but I just wish it was available in petite, because I am only 5′ 1” tall and it is long on me – but great to wear with leggings.” Another said: “As much as I liked it, it was too big for me and I didn’t think it would be very warm, it seemed like thin wool.”
