As party season approaches, fashion lovers are heading to Debenhams to grab a dress that was seen on TV as comedian and presenter Judi Love flaunted it. The Wallis Square Sequin Twist Midi Dress is now slashed by 30% on the Debenhams site and buyers can grab it for £42, down from £60.

Available in the colours blue or mauve, this dress is available in sizes 8 to 22 – although the 22 in the blue is currently out of stock. It stands out due to its all over sequin embellishment, which makes a great look for a Christmas party or an evening out with friends.

It also has an elegant twist detail across the waist which creates a ‘flattering silhouette’ and it has a V-neckline frame to offer a classy but stylish aesthetic. There are also long sleeves to fit in with the season and a front split detail that ‘adds movement and drama’ to the midi-length shape. 

Next also has its Lipsy Burgundy Red Velvet Embellished Sequin Long Sleeve Puffball Mini Dress available for £95 on its website. This comes in sizes 6 to 18, although some are out of stock, and features long sleeves and a velvet main body.

M&S then has its Cotton Rich Velvet Embellished Mini Skater Dress for £60 that comes in sizes 6 to 24 and petite, regular and tall lengths. This dress is made from plush cotton rich velvet, is designed in a regular fit and has a square neckline.

Although Judi’s Wallis dress doesn’t have any direct reviews yet, shoppers have taken to Trustpilot to share their thoughts on the brand. One person wrote: “Lovely Christmas dress! Was worried it would be tight but very happy it was nice and loose but still looks amazing.”

A second person chimed in, saying: “Easy to negotiate the ordering on the website and the dress is lovely.” A third commented: “Love the dress and looks very classy and smart. Just what I need for Christmas.”

A handful of others disagreed, however, as one shopper said: “The dress arrived on time unfortunately too long in length for me and had no time to order alternative so have to return to sender.” Another wrote: “Easy to order and delivery was quick. However dress was too small so returned.”
