Meghan Markle tipped to launch new business venture after PR blitz | Royal | News
Meghan Markle has been tipped to launch a new business venture, either in the fashion or beauty industry, after her latest PR blitz in New York and Washington, D.C. The Duchess of Sussex has been making a flurry of appearances since last Thursday, when she travelled to New York City, which culminated this Tuesday when she spoke at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women summit in Washington, DC.
It followed a surprise appearance in France, when the Duchess attended Balenciaga’s show during Paris Fashion Week. Now, experts have predicted the latest engagements could hint at something bigger is on the cards for the Duchess, namely a “Meghan 3.0” relaunch, after a “bumpy” 2025, which saw most of her business efforts savaged by critics.
This year, the Duchess launched a new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, her lifestyle brand, As Ever, and a podcast series, Confessions of a Female Founder.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Fashion is where she will aim her focus now.”
Another industry expert added: “Paris was a ‘moment’ for her. It’s the first positive PR she’s had in years.”
Meanwhile, a PR source said: “It’s Meghan 3.0. She’s on manoeuvres and looking for yet another relaunch.”
Meghan has previously hinted at expanding her brand to include fashion items.
While giving an interview to Fast Company in May, the Duchess discussed the future of As Ever and was asked about expanding it to include home goods or even have her own clothing line.
She said: “My heart is very deeply in my home. Everything comes from being rooted in the love story of your home and garden, and then you can imagine different verticals coming out of that.
She added: “The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date, because I do think that’s an interesting space for me.”
